BrewMate is an original, open-source macOS project. It was designed and developed independently and is not based on any unrelated app that happens to use the same name or a similar interface.
BrewMate was built from scratch in Swift and SwiftUI, with its own package search, installation, update, diagnostics, activity, notification, sound, and haptic systems.
The public GitHub history shows BrewMate growing from the original HomePour prototype into the current app, including its earlier name, implementation, fixes, and releases.
View the source and commit history →BrewMate displays the actual Homebrew commands it runs, streams command output, and stores an activity history. Its behavior is visible rather than hidden behind the interface.
The app code, icon, website, installer, screenshots, domain, and Homebrew tap belong to this project. No code, screenshots, or visual assets from another BrewMate product are used.
Download BrewMate and give your Homebrew installation a proper front door.
